The exterior has come so far in a few short years. The Limewash was a HUGE first step! Painted the siding and trim, lots of cleanup, enclosing the former breezeway, a fresh black metal roof, and the large retaining beds with custom lighting, trellises, and so much more! It’s made for one heck of a wow moment to look back on!

@romabiopaints Limewash- it is NOT paint. It’s a mineral treatment that will distress over time. You can apply it lightly for a softer finish or you can build it up for a solid look. It’s permanent and breathable. I repeat- it’s NOT paint.

I just can’t wait to get on the road again- litera

I just can’t wait to get on the road again- literally my life goal right now- or in this case- outside, working, making things, building things, growing things- in the garden, not just bones, and I just can’t wait! Can you feel it?!

Tomorrow marks 5 weeks post lumbar fusion- and all goes well, next Friday I’ll have a few restrictions eased. It will be many months before all restrictions are lifted, but I won’t lie, I’ve been thinking a bit of my first project when I’mWhat do y’all want to see?!

If you saw my stories last night, I’ve got a brutal cold on top of the whole recovery thing, which is highly unappreciated! Today has been better than yesterday though, so hopefully that means tomorrow will be that much better!

It really is a good way to spend a good fall day! This week is our first week out of forecasted triple digits, so we had to throw it back to the last welding project I did last year. I’m so ready to get back to projects like this, even if we’ve got a ways to go!

Believe it or not, I took the shipping crate my @egopowerplus Z6 mower came in and turned it into a really cool wall mount trellis. I’m nothing if not incredibly resourceful! I do not believe in throwing away good steel!

The @boschtoolsna X-lock Grinder is instrumental in a project like this, switch from cutting, to grinding to surfacing in seconds. Put on a larger battery and there is no stopping it!

An obsession with making sawdust is putting it mildly! 🫶🏻 skill can be learned, talent is key, hard work is everything, and obsession is the magic component! 😉 anyone feel obsessed with their craft these days?!?

Four weeks post surgery- which means four whole weeks and one day of missing the magic of making sawdust. It’s surreal still, but I’m starting to feel physically a little better. Pain is lessening, although still pretty bad at times, and I’m moving much better every single day. I’ll take it!

The tool I’m most eager to get back to?! My routers! This @flexpowertoolsna Cordless Router is pure perfection! I got it in a few weeks before surgery, and it’ll be the next tool review I write- to preview, it’s amazing! 🥰

Is it crazy that this was almost two years ago already! I measure time in renovations, y’all ever do that?!

This was a big project, took it all the way to drywall, installed a niche, tile, custom floating vanity, hardware, everything! I loved the @kraususa Sink, Faucet and all of the finishes, they really brought this vintage deco modern vibe together!
