Weeds! The bane of most every garden’s existence Weeds! The bane of most every garden’s existence! Want to eliminate them, without having to use harsh chemicals? I teamed up with @earthsally to show you a way to banish weeds but keep your garden safe for pets, people and pollinators! #ad   You guys know I am an avid gardener. Both edible and ornamental, I spend a ton of time in the garden! What you may not know though, is that I used to have a massive butterfly garden and every year I have brought back smaller versions of that to encourage populations of Monarchs. One year we successfully released 450 butterflies! Through my years of doing this, I learned just how dangerous most garden chemicals are for our pollinators, and it’s been a goal of mine to really eliminate their use anywhere I can!    The other side of that, is needing a solution that works! Earth’s Ally is powered by Sea Salt- making it a super safe and effective option for killing weeds (when used as directed) - even super pesky ones! Plus, it’s simple to use! Simply fill your pump sprayer with a gallon of water, open the bag and gently mix the contents. A few pumps later and you’re ready to go!    We spent a million man hours hardscaping around these large beds last year, so where the weeds popped up in the front, it was imperative to get rid of them easily and quickly. Simply saturate the weed, and in just a few days your weeds are a thing of the past. Is there anything better than a flush trim router Is there anything better than a flush trim router bit?! I think not! Routing this stool top using a template and double sided tape, easily one of the best things to hit the woodworking world! Templates are great when you need more than one of something, but always use a ton of caution with a router, handheld or in the table- they’re my favorite tool, but definitely one of the most dangerous tools you can use too! Respect your tools, and they’ll respect you! I’ve thought about this a lot lately- I am a people pleaser. I want to be everything for everyone, and it’s exhausting. I hate disappointing people and that extends to business too. The “growth” phases of life aren’t easy, it can be so confusing and make you feel like you’re just totally lost. Going through this last year has shown me to take hold of the reins and really make the tough decisions I’ve been avoiding. Keep those plants staying alive y’all! 🌱🪻a Keep those plants staying alive y’all! 🌱🪻anyone else planting a garden this year? What are you growing?? Finally got all of the Berry beds irrigation sorted using the @indeepirrigation Spikes! These are insanely cool, they self pierce right onto 1/2 inch drip line to make install super quick and easy! You can adjust the flow by turning the top. The beauty of this entire system is that rather than watering on the surface it brings water right to the roots where you need it! For us here in Texas, this is an absolute life changer because it not only saves water from evaporating off the surface, but it ensures you’re only watering what the plant needs and not wasting water in the process. You can even add fertilizer to the Root Quencher Spikes too, which saves a bit of work and is more efficient at getting the nutrients where you need them! Since I got into gardening more a few years ago, watering has been a tedious game of trial and error, and I’ve learned a lot through out the successes and failures. Currently, I have 9 Blackberry and Raspberry Beds, and two Blueberry beds in this sections, several different varieties too! Did you know there are gold raspberries? Or white blackberries? Well, that’s only a few of what this section will yield! One thins is for sure, the few we’ve picked this season make store bought berries seem so bland! More coming on the Root Quencher system as I install the full size units and the Jr’s on our trees and bushes!
