Wall treatments are one of the most profitable pro Wall treatments are one of the most profitable projects I get requested to do in other people’s homes and it’s also one of the projects I always get referrals from making them infinitely more valuable! With that, I have found the perfect formula to ensure these spaces stand the test of time every single time! I am thrilled to be partnering with Gorilla Glue and share how their All-Purpose Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive has become my MVP on dozens of wall treatments! I always start a wall treatment with a solid and smooth background, not only will this space be a focal point in a home, but you need a durable surface that can handle tons of traffic and stay looking freshly finished for years to come. I generously apply the Gorilla Glue Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive to the back of a product called Hardboard, which is a thin sheet good that provides a very durable finish when installed properly, and the smooth surface is unmatched in creating the perfect base. Gorilla Glue’s Heavy-Duty Adhesive bonds virtually any material together, so it’s a perfect product to keep in my truck for a variety of projects. I utilize a few brad nails to border the hardboard and into several studs to pull the board flush to the wall while the adhesive sets-up and it allows me to move on to the next phase without delay. Once the design is installed directly on the hardboard, I like to fill any small imperfections, caulk any seams, and move on to priming and painting to ensure we bring this project together! I love how this turned out! The twist on a traditional wainscoting created an interesting focal point that really blends the modern design with a touch of craftsman style charm that is timeless! #GorillaPro #wainscoting #walltreatment #accentwall
When I’m not building- we’re ballin! Better known When I’m not building- we’re ballin! Better known as watching our Abigail kick butt on the court! She’s been playing volleyball less than a year and she’s an absolute natural! It’s like she found this thing that she loves an y’all, when you fall in love nothing can stop you! What makes it so fun for us is to watch her grow into such a strong young woman, she’s fearless! She played for her school volleyball team, as well as basketball and tennis so far, and she plans on trying out for club this summer after two sessions of club prep. She’s 12- so we have a lifetime ahead of us! Enjoying our time at @hskylinetw and love the opportunity to follow some amazing athletes like @juliannfaucette from @lovb who are truly such incredible role models as well as phenomenal athletes!!
I was 15 when I met you. I walked into my first da I was 15 when I met you. I walked into my first day of work at Kroger and you were training me. You asked me out- but I was taken at the time. You waited patiently for that to change and eventually, over two year later we finally had the timing right. Since that very first kiss, I knew where my home was- with you! Today marks 20 years of marriage! And about 23 years since we started dating. I’m sorry, what?! We’re still those kids who fell in love and chose to build a life together! We have defied every odd, overcome every statistic, created two stunningly beautiful humans that are every bit of “us” and so much more. We have changed and grown together- and 20 years in? I’d still choose you every time and in every lifetime. You’re the calm in my chaos, the ease in my struggle, the rock when I need a place to pause. Here’s to forever. ♥️♥️ #marriage #forever
