Are y’all fans of templates? To me templates are Are y’all fans of templates? To me templates are the way to go when trying to keep repeatable spacing on projects. Here I was drilling holes to mount threaded inserts to attach the table legs on this Epoxy and Mahogany Desk. Can you measure and drill each hole? Sure you can! But,?with extra scrap material laying around all the time this saves significant time and I find them to be more accurate to boot! What do y’all use Templates for? * * * The Kobalt Drills auxiliary handle is a solid bonus, and something we don’t see on standard Drill Drivers often. The Barn Door project is finished, and once I can The Barn Door project is finished, and once I can get a hair caught up you’ll see the full step by step guide to how I assembled and designed this door! When I started playing around with the Bender Board to make the design, I knew I wanted to keep it simple with basic cuts that anyone could do, while still giving a ton of “wow” factor. I used my @harttoolsusa 10 -Inch Miter Saw to cut all of the pieces and glued and nailed them to the door. I am still in awe every time I open this door that it came together as well as it did! Another day that totally kicked my butt. I just wr Another day that totally kicked my butt. I just wrapped for the day, 13 solid hours working on this laundry room floor- and a lot of progress was made! I had hoped to finish all of the tile, but I ran out of thin set, so I’ll have to snag some more tomorrow and focus on grouting what’s dry. Also- these mosaics are tedious as all get out- but hopefully it was all worth it! I miss my shop! Today has been a doozy. You ever want to fall asle Today has been a doozy. You ever want to fall asleep on the job? That’s basically where I am at now. I am completely exhausted, but as they say the show must go on! Monday’s- they’re for the birds. * * If you follow my stories you’ve seen the drama unfold with our laundry room. Long and short- our washer died this weekend- new washer and dryer will be here late this week, so it’s a “well let’s get this done while it’s out of commission anyway” - situation. Today was spent scraping just under 80 st feet of vinyl and adhesive- which was repeatedly exposed to water making it extra sticky. What a mess! Y’all- I finally bought a Drum Sander! I added t Y’all- I finally bought a Drum Sander! I added the @supermaxtools 16-32 Drum Sander to the shop this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited! I was able to purchase this during my local @rockler_woodworking stores Floor Model Sale- this crew has always been the very best! I’ve wanted to add a drum sander for a long time, so I’m over the moon!
