First Look-
Milwaukee Wrench Set Review
It’s easy to get caught up in power tools, but hand tools are the classic tools that don’t get near the love they deserve. Hand Tools have their place in a real way in almost every shop. Virtually every brand offers Mechanics Tools in their Hand Tool lineup, including Milwaukee. Well known for their wide range of professional cordless power tools, their hand tool line has made quite a splash so far this year and after looking at them, it is easy to see why. Let’s see what their Wrenches offer in the Milwaukee Wrench Set Review.
A Little About the Brand-
Milwaukee Wrench Set Review
Milwaukee Tools began at the tail end of World War I, with the United States in a period of intense transition the automotive industry sought a way to work on cars without the bulk. A.H Peterson designed the first drill, dubbed the “Hole-Shooter” to give the industry what it needed. Shortly after, a man by the name of A.F Siebert bought the design and began the Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp.
It’s that legacy today that continues to provide the Automotive industry with the tools they need most. Today Milwaukee has their hands in virtually every trade from OPE to Plumbing and Electrical, they truly stay focused on providing professionals with the tools and innovations they need most.

The ink-filled label provides beautiful visibility and ensures the label will stand up to heavy use.
To me, the standout feature is easily the Max- Bite open end. This design features small grips to grasp nuts and bolts better and provide 25% more torque than standard wrenches.
The closed end offers a wonderful grip on fasteners.
Milwaukee provides a lifetime warranty on their Hand Tool Lineup.
Who Can Use This-
Milwaukee Wrench Set Review
Milwaukee is a Professional tool manufacturer so I definitely think their tools are designed for those who use tools in a full-time capacity. Having said that, if you are a hobbyist, the money on professional quality tools is often well justified. Something like Wrenches will hopefully be a tool you only purchase once in your life, and with a lifetime guarantee, Milwaukee ensures that they’ll stand up to anything you throw at it.
Value-
Milwaukee Wrench Set Review
Milwaukee prices the 15 piece SAE set, Model # 48-22-9415 at just under $125.00 dollars at The Home Depot. To me, wrenches aren’t something you’ll purchase repeatedly so spending a few extra dollars up front for high-quality tools is practical. For Professional users, Milwaukee is actually priced well below some manufacturers and is an incredible value.
Wrap Up-
Milwaukee Wrench Set Review
I only recently acquired the SAE Set of Milwaukee Wrenches, but I have owned the Metric set for a few months. I think the MAX-BITE head makes a huge difference in overall performance and grabbing fasteners and holding tight. Especially on bolts that have been rounded a bit, they make a huge difference. The ink filled labels and storage tray allow easy access and organization, something important in keeping your tools organized.
I have been thoroughly impressed overall with their quality and performance. I have purchased several tools in the Milwaukee Hand Tool range since seeing them pop up in my Home Depot, and I really feel they’ve done an amazing job considering the needs of professional users and making them a reality. While I am not a professional mechanic, I use hand tools regularly and consider these some of the very best available today.
