I’m fine. We’re fine. Right? We’re all fine. I’m fine. We’re fine. Right? We’re all fine. We’re all going to be fine. Except we aren’t. No one really is. If 2020 has taught me anything- it’s that I think most of us are a flat tire away from a nervous breakdown. We’ve watched everything fall apart this year and we’ve seen everyone struggle and just when we think it’s going to be ease up because certainly at some point it has to- it doesn’t. I hate feeling overwhelmed because honestly there are so many who have it so much worse. Some have lost loved ones, jobs, their homes, their communities are on fire in more ways than one- and no one has a fix. I struggle so much to find the ability to own the “not okay” part because I want to be okay. I think if we just stay strong and project the feeling of “fine” that eventually we will be. I think if I find the silver lining that my kids will too- but maybe I’m wrong. Is it “fake it until you make it” or no?
