Portable Power comes in a lot of forms. Gas-powered Generators were your only option for years, but a lot has changed today with advances in battery technology. Brands like EGO have launched Battery Powered Generators with a massive amount of love shown for their convenience and ease of use. But, what if your goal is to power small electronics, or like me, get you out of a bind when the power is out? Well, EGO has a simple answer for that too- a power inverter. Today we check out this creative way to get the most out of your EGO batteries, in the EGO Nexus Escape Review.
A Little About the Brand-
EGO Nexus Escape Inverter Review
EGO is well loved for their Outdoor Power Equipment. I would easily say their Battery Powered OPE is one of the best performing lineups on the market. Initially, battery-powered landscaping tools were seen with intense skepticism. I mean, it did seem far-fetched that a brand could really produce a mower, blower, or string trimmer that could rival their gas-powered counterparts.
Thankfully, EGO knew what they were doing. Armed with intense power in their batteries they set to change the world of OPE, and that they did. Since their initial launch, they’ve added a slew of new tools like the Multi-Head system that I love, chainsaws and the like. Homeowners everywhere, as well as a fair amount of professionals, have fallen in love with the EGO line. Their recent launches though are all about unleashing the power of the batteries we rely on for our landscaping needs.

My Thoughts-
EGO Nexus Escape Inverter Review
The design of the EGO Nexus Escape is as simple as possible, and that’s a huge reason to love it. I always appreciate when a brand takes a lot of technology and manages to make it easy enough for anyone to use. Plus, it’s often the simple tools that become the most uses. It is no secret that batteries can get up there in price, which is always a concern for users. The wider the range of applications a manufacturer can create for users, the better the investment it is for them.
I really like that there are two USB ports that make charging small electronics like phones and tablets a breeze. Something always important on the go! The 120V AC power outlet allows you to power larger electronics like TV’s and laptops, as well as small household items. You have a lot of versatility with this inverter to have both power options.
I live in an area that tends to lose power frequently this time of year with heavy storms. For me, this is easily where this tool has seen most of its use. With so much to factor when you weigh your options on tools like this, you have to consider the ways you will use it. If you’re like me, storm preparedness is useful, but if you tailgate, camp, or take a lot of road trips, these kinds of tools have incredible versatility. All things considered, EGO did an amazing job of bringing more uses to their batteries while remaining practical and maximizing value. The EGO Nexus Inverter is practical, reasonably priced, and incredibly versatile. All in all, its a win!
